Explore Four Themed Story Realms
For all the brave souls out there, revel in the mystical and magical as you start your desert trek with Ali Baba in the One Thousand and One Nights-inspired Land of Nights. Dive down the rabbit-hole with Alice in the Lewis Carroll-inspired-Wonderland, where you’ll encounter the time-warped Mad Hatter and meet the maniacal Queen of Hearts herself, and slide down the beanstalk with Jack in Storyland.
Take charge of your own happily-ever-after (with a twist) in Grimmsneyland: go under the sea with the Little Mermaid as she enlists your help in finding some lost items, and get the chance to ride in Cinderella’s magical pumpkin carriage (but only if you’re nice to her).
Something New Every (Once Upon A) Time
With two sets of characters alternating every week to look forward to, participants can expect the curiouser and curiouser with 22 Stories, which, true to its name, offers a fresh fantasy every single time one partakes in the immersive experience, no matter how many times one pricks one’s finger on the colloquial spinning wheel – attend two sessions, one on an odd week and one on an even week, in order to enjoy the full range of characters available from 22 Stories.
Instagram Museum
Surrounded by the novel and legendary backdrops available across the four themed realms, 22 Stories participants experience “both classic fairytales & folklore in a new way”, according to ANDSOFORTH Jr. co-artistic director Stuart Wee. Besides being immersed in the theatrical manifestation of your favourite childhood stories, you also traverse a veritable “Instagram museum”.
This concept of an interactive Instagram museum of sorts has been making its rounds around the USA and ANDSOFORTH Jr. is the first local immersive theatre company to bring this novel concept to our shores. Vivid and compelling, the intricate details of each background are perfect for gracing your Instagram feeds and are specially curated to be a (once upon a) dream for Instagrammers everywhere! 🙌🏻
